DLA has doubled its initial $2.6M order, placed on behalf of US Air Force Security Forces
<\/strong><\/p>

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico , Aug. 23, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —\u00a0Red Cat Holdings, Inc.<\/a>\u00a0(Nasdaq: RCAT) (“Red Cat” or the “Company”), a drone technology company integrating robotic hardware and software for military, government and commercial operations, today announces that subsidiary Teal Drones has received a second $2.6 million purchase order to supply\u00a0Teal 2<\/u><\/a>\u00a0systems to the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).<\/p>

Teal will deliver an additional 172 units of the Teal 2 drone plus spare parts and training. Previously, on Aug. 8, Red Cat\u00a0announced<\/a>\u00a0an initial order from the DLA for 172 units, also totaling $2.6 million. Combined, the two orders now total $5.2 million.<\/p>

Both orders were requested by\u00a0U.S. Air Force Security\u00a0Forces<\/u><\/a>,\u00a0whose role is to defend Air Force bases and installations.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cThe Air Force needs to secure its airfields and bases 24\/7, and the Teal 2 offers the highest-resolution night vision in its class,\u201d said Red Cat CEO Jeff Thompson.\u00a0\u201cWe\u2019re honored that the Air Force has now doubled its order, to more than $5 million.\u201d<\/p>

The procurements were sourced\u00a0by global operations support company\u00a0Noble Supply & Logistics, LLC<\/a>\u00a0(NOBLE) as part of\u00a0the\u00a0DLA\u2019s\u00a0Special Operational Equipment Tailored Logistics Support (SOE TLS) Program.<\/p>

NOBLE is a\u00a0DLA-designated provider<\/a>\u00a0for the SOE TLS Program. This 10-year program, capped at\u00a0$33\u00a0billion,\u00a0covers\u00a0the delivery of\u00a0logistics\u00a0support\u00a0to federal agencies, military\u00a0bases\u00a0and other DLA customers worldwide,\u00a0helping\u00a0them meet their SOE requirements.\u00a0<\/p>

Approved by the U.S. Department of Defense as\u00a0Blue UAS<\/a>\u00a0and available to purchase through the federal government\u2019s\u00a0GSA Advantage<\/a>\u00a0website, the Teal 2 is designed to\u00a0Dominate the Night\u2122<\/a>\u00a0as the world\u2019s leading small drone for night operations. The Teal 2 is the first sUAS to be equipped with\u00a0Teledyne FLIR<\/a>\u2019s new Hadron 640R sensor, providing end users with the highest-resolution thermal imaging in a small form factor.<\/p>

The Teal 2 also features the latest intelligence,\u00a0surveillance\u00a0and reconnaissance technology, delivering time-critical information and enabling operators to make faster, smarter decisions.
